5 Tips for Fast Results When Training Your Beagle

Even though the beagle dog breed is one of the cutest dog breeds out there, they are often being passed off disobedient, un-trainable, hyperactive and mischievous dog which are extremly hard to keep under control. While that has some truth in it, life with a beagle puppy can be enjoyable, fun and downright interesting. What you need is patience with this particular dog breed, love and the right beagle training methods is what will help you achieve an obedient and loyal companian!


1. Be Fair With Corrections


When you are involved in Beagle puppy training, you should be fair with the corrections. You want your Beagle to know what you want before you do it...and before you have to correct them. You should never be suddenly angry with your Beagle because they will not understand that.


2. Start 'em young


Beagle puppies can be trained from as young as 5 weeks old. Eager to please their owners, beagle puppies are able to learn rapidly during their puppy days.


3. Be firm, but remember to praise


Don't spoil your beagle puppy. He is more likely to be obedient if it sees you as its pack leader. Letting your beagle trample all over you will you its peer in the dog's mind. However, being firm doesn't mean being lack of praise. Always praise your beagle puppy for each thing it does correctly.


4. Work Together


One of the best Beagle training tips is to work together with your Beagle. When the two of you work together and are on the same team, things can go a lot quicker. Let your Beagle learn to play by having fun with you. Show them love and affection and make sure you show them that you care for them.
